The offer was not offered in the last contract he had with Manchester United but it was given to him verbally before he left for Everton, United have not got any plans to build a statue of the striker but there could be one in the future. Dwight Yorke and Denis Irwin are other former players and now they are also ambassador's.

Jose said "He had a good season and outstanding performances, especially in our Europa League success." he all so said "Sergio deserves his new contract, and for Manchester United to have Sergio and De Gea is amazing in such an important role for the club, Romero him self was delighted to have extended his contract with United, saying" I am delighted to have signed a new contract," he said. Victor could have scored himself when the ball fell to him inside the penalty box midway through the second half, but his shot flew over the crossbar and the former Benfica man was frustrated he couldn't find the net for his new club.
