Patrice Evra wants to leave Manchester United

Patrice Evra wants to leave Manchester United. Evra has hinted he wants to leave Manchester United, The French Left-backs current deal is due to end at the end of the season Manchester United are reluctant to part with Evra`s considerable experience with the 32 year old having spent 7 years at Old Trafford during which time he has helped to land 5 Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League crown. David Moyes was, however, heavily linked with a few of high-profile left-backs over the summer transfer window with Leighton Baines and Fabio Coentrao on his transfer radar.

He may be forced to step up that hunt in the January transfer window with Patrice revealing that he is not yet to agree on a new contracted deal. Speculation has suggested for some time that he could be tempted to return to France before he hangs up his boots-with former employers Monaco and big spending PSG reported to be keen of signing him. Evra has offered no indication as to what his next move will be, but it appears that his future past the end of 2012/14 lies outside of England.
Asked by Telefoot is he is concerned about his expiring contract at Manchester United, he said: "No, not at all.
"It is a personal thing. It is not that Manchester United do not want me to sign a new contract.
"Manchester United would like me to finish my career at Old Trafford, but this is something personal."

David Moyes closes on £54m Ander Herrera Marouane Fellaini for Manchester United

David Moyes closes on £54m Ander Herrera Marouane Fellaini for Manchester United. The Manchester United Manager David Moyes was close to finalising a record double deal late on transfer Deadline Day the boss had just the loose ends to tie up a £54.5million splurge for Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini making it the club`s biggest ever day of spending Herrera is joining form Athletic Bilbao for £30.5million while  Fellaini cost £24million from Everton.
Both of the players were expected to sign a five year deals worth £90,000 a week, that means a total outlay of just over £100million on fees and wages.
The transfer fees alone are the most the club has splashed out in a single window since 2006, and the fee for Herrera, 24, is just short of Manchester United`s individual transfer record of £30.75million witch they paid Fulham for Dimitar Berbatov, also on dead line day, back in 2008. Manchester United also agreed to a friendly at Bilbao as part of the deal, which was being held up by tax issues. Marouane Fellaini, 25, is understood to have pushed through his move by putting in a transfer request.
But Everton held firm in Manchester United`s chase for defender Leighton Baines.

Barcalona Battle Manchester United Fabagas Bid

Barcelona Battle Manchester United Fabagas Bid

Barcelona are trying to keep Cesc Fabagas out of Manchester United's clutches by insisting he does not want to join them. New Old Trafford boss David Moyes offered the Spanish giants £26million for the former Arsenal skipper,26,on Monday. If that is turned down, the Premier League champions are ready to break their own £3.75million transfer record to land him.
Manchester United believe Fabagas is willing to join them if Barcelona want to sell. But Barcelona coach Tito Villanova said last night: " I know he has received offers from other teams but Fabagas has told me it is his dream to stay.
"He doesn't want to go to other teams for money or playing time. "He knows there is competition for places but he wants to stay." However, Manchester United are ready to top the £30.75million they paid Tottenham for Dimitar Berbatov in 2008. Arsenal have first refusal on Fabagas. But they are unlikely to activate their £25million buy-back clause for the Spanish midfielder if Barcelona decide to sell him.

David Moyes would be happy with 25% of Alex Ferguson's sucsess

David Moyes would be happy with 25% of Alex Ferguson's success

David Moyes insists he would be happy to win a quarter of Sir Alex Ferguson's silverware by the time he leaves Old Trafford. Alex Ferguson lifted an amazing 38 trophies in 26 years as Manchester United manger. And new boss David Moyes confessed: "It's my first season as manager and im following probably the finest football manager that's lived. "If I can even win a quarter of what he won, then I'll have done very well.
"So the first thing I've got to do is settle in to the job, get to know everybody and find my way round. "I'm really fortunate that everybody who's working at the club is making that easy for me. "The players especially , have been terrific in what they're doing and we'll be adding one or two more players who've come in to join us, who have maybe been away with International teams over the summer time in the next month or so."
Striker Robin Van Persie is due to join up with the Manchester United squad in Sydney ahead of Saturday's pre-season friendly against and A-League All Star side.
Manchester United lost the first match of their Far East tour 1-0 to the Singha All Star XI in Bangkok on Saturday. They are also due to play two games in Japan and one in Hong Kong before heading home. David Moyes will hope to have some new signings in the bag by then although Barcelona midfielder Thago Alcantara will NOT be one of them.
Bayern Munich confirmed yesterday the Spaniard 22, will join up with his former Nou Camp boss Pep Guardiola after the clubs agreed a £22million fee. Ryan Giggs, 39, admits Manchester United's stars are getting used to life under the new boss. The Welshman, who is now filling a dual role as player-coach, said: " Its obviously strange because I've only had one manger for 20-odd years. "But we move on and it's like any other pre-season; you've got to work hard, knuckle down and prepare as best you can for the first game of the season against Swansea.
" So it's not been that different really."
Giggs is about to kick off his 23rd season as a Manchester United player. He added: "Crazy, aren't I? But I'm enjoying it just as much as I did 20 years ago. "The thing about Manchester United is you have to do it all over again. And that philosophy will remain the same even though there is now a new man at the helm.
"This is the start of the journey this season and I hope to be lifting a trophy again at the end of it."

Manchester United Get Tough On Rooney

United Get Tough On Rooney

Manchester United will not pander to Wayne Rooney's demands. The Champions refuse to be rushed into offering the striker a new mega contract and neither are they willing to bow to any demands to contradict Sir Alex Ferguson's claim the player asked to leave the club at the end of last season.
A Manchester United source said: "This is not like the last time. Then Manchester United did everything to keep him. This time he is not the same player and a lot of people are starting to lose patience."
But England coach Roy Hodgson plans to stick by Wayne Rooney, saying: "Wayne Rooney will, I'm sure, be an important cog in our wheel. "His club future is nothing to do with me."

Cristiano Ronaldo staying at Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo staying at Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Manchester United has been the rumoured story from all media outlets over the summer, but yesterday Ronaldo dropped the biggest hint that he is to stay in Spain with Real Madrid. Ronaldo made a surprise visit
to Crest Secondary in Singapore on Wednesday afternoon for a Q+A and also to show off his footballing skills in front of 200 very happy children. " I really miss English football, some of the best years of my career were at Manchester United and everyone knows that. Manchester United is still in my heart. In the future, you never know but for now, I'm enjoying myself in Spain."

Wayne Rooney ready to Leave Manchester United

Wayne Rooney ready to Leave Manchester United

A former Manchester United coach claims Wayne Rooney could have been as good as Cristiano Ronaldo, but has seen his career held back by a hatred of working out. Mick Clegg, who worked as fitness coach at Old Trafford, has revealed the vast... but entirely unsurprising contrast between the attitudes of 27-year-old Rooney and 28-year-old Ronaldo when it came to hitting the gym. “Wayne didn’t see the importance of the gym, really, here would say ‘I’m here to play football’. I always wish I could have pushed Wayne that bit further. "Wayne was always a big lad and was afraid of bulking up if he spent too much time in the gym, that’s what set Cristiano Ronaldo apart. He would do whatever training I prescribed and more. “He lived and breathed football 24/7 and his dedication was phenomenal. Wayne could still be as good as Cristiano if he emulated his attitude to the gym, he is an amazing athlete when he puts his mind to it.”

Nani Leaving Manchester United this summer

Nani Leaving Manchester United this summer.

Manchester United are willing to sell Portuguese winger Nani for around £8.5million this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The likes of Juventus and Real Madrid have been linked with the former Sporting Lisbon man, but it is Galatasaray's chairman, claims that the Turks made Manchester United an offer of around £6million, which was rejected for not being high enough, and they now feel Nani may be out of their financial reach.

"We offered £6million for him. But they didn't accept. We can't give more than this. We are not going to follow Nani anymore. We can't give more than £6million for him. They want £8.5million. Because of this he is not on our transfer list anymore.

Wayne Rooney leaveing Manchester United

Wayne Rooney wants to leave Manchester United. Wayne Rooney's Transfer request was turned down by Manchester United but now they are using the England striker to promote their new kit. Wayne was unveiled yesterday in Manchester United's Nike home strip for next season. Despite having asked to leave the club twice in three years, he remains one of their most marketable players. And that is why Nike and Manchester United have used him to push sales of the new kit. How much longer Wayne Rooney continues to wear it remains to be seen. New manager David Moyes is on holiday and still to decide on Wayne's future. There was little doubt former boss Alex Ferguson had grown sick of him after the player's second bid to get away.
Sir Alex left him out of his farewell match at Old Trafford and a large proportion of Manchester United fans have also turned against him. He was booed when he accepted his title winning medal and also received stick during Manchester United's victory bus parade.
Many in the United hierarchy reckon this could be the time to cash in at £25million, believing they have had the best from him.
He has just two years left of his current £250,000 a week contract and there are no signs the club are ready to offer him a new one.

Wayne Rooney is set to have talks with David Moyes to decide his Manchester United future

Wayne Rooney is set to have talks with David Moyes to decide his Manchester United future. David Moyes is not officially due to start work as Manchester United's boss until July 1st but was at the Red devils Carrington training ground on Monday for meetings with the departing Sir Alex Ferguson and his backroom staff.

Resolving Wayne Rooney's future is the first job on the new man's agenda.

David Moyes is believed to be keen to keep hold of the 27-year-old but will demand 100 per cent commitment to the club.

If Wayne Rooney can't give him the assurances he desires David Moyes feels he will have little choice but to off-load the unsettled striker from Manchester United ranks as quickly as possible.

Ronaldo going to Manchester United?

Ronaldo continues to resist renewing his contract at Real Madrid but Manchester United face a difficult struggle if they are serious about re-signing him now. Cristiano Ronaldo admitted earlier this season that he was "sad" at the Santiago Bernabéu and his relationship with the president Florentino Pérez is distant. Yet, while a departure is possible in the mid- to long-term, this summer may prove premature.Cristiano Ronaldo has said he intends to honour his contract, which expires at the start of July 2015 when he will be 30, but has repeatedly avoided calls to publicly commit his future to Real Madrid. He has admitted he misses Manchester United and held up his hands to apologise when he scored for Real Madrid at Old Trafford. After the game he described the occasion as "strange". It is not yet clear how Alex Ferguson's departure will affect his view, however. Cristinao Ronaldo's preference is to run down his contract to strengthen his hand, allowing him to speak freely with a new club from 1 January 2015 or negotiate a departure from a powerful position in the summer of 2014. Any transfer fee would either be substantially reduced or unnecessary, enhancing any signing-on fee to the player and making him easier to sign.

What do you think will Cristiano Ronaldo come Home?

Wayne Rooney 2012-13 season

Despite starting the opening game of the season against Everton, Wayne Rooney was dropped to the bench for the second game against Fulham in favour of new signing Robin van Persie. After coming on for Shinji Kagawa in the 68th minute, Wayne Rooney suffered a severe gash to his right leg caused by Fulham's Hugo Rodallega that kept him out for four weeks.Wayne made his come back on 29 September in a 3–2 loss against Tottenham.3 days later he assisted both Robin van Persie goals in 2–1 win against CFR Cluj in the UEFA Champions League. He scored his first goal of the season in a 4–2 league win at home to Stoke City on 20 October, where he reached his 200th club goal.On 7 November he scored his first UEFA Champions League goal of the season, scoring a penalty in a 3–1 win against S.C. Braga. Wayne Rooney scored twice and assisted a goal in a 4–3 win against Reading on 1 December. He scored a brace in the Manchester Derby at the Etihad Stadium on 9 December 2012 which Manchester United won 3–2.On 30 January 2013, he scored twice in a 2-1 win against Southampton.

Sir Alex Ferguson Retireing as Manchester United Manager

Alex Ferguson was appointed manager at Old Trafford on 6 November 1986. He was initially worried that many of the players, such as Norman Whiteside, Paul McGrath and Bryan Robson were drinking too much and was "depressed" by their level of fitness, but he managed to increase the players' discipline and United climbed up the table to finish the season in 11th place, having been 21st (second from bottom) when he took over. His first game in charge was a 2–0 defeat at underdogs Oxford United on 8 November, followed seven days later by a goalless draw at newly promoted Norwich City, and then his first win (1–0 at home to QPR) on 22 November. Results steadily improved as the season went on, and by the time they recorded what would be their only away win of the league campaign at title challengers and deadly rivals Liverpool on Boxing Day, it was clear that Manchester United were on the road to recovery. 1987 began on a high note for the club with a 4–1 victory over Newcastle United and Manchester United gradually pulled together in the second half of the season, with relatively occasional defeats on the way, and finished 11th in the final table. Alex Ferguson's mother, Elizabeth died of lung cancer, aged 64, three weeks after his appointment. Alex appointed Archie Knox, his assistant at Aberdeen, as his assistant at Manchester United in 1986.
In the 1987–88 season, Ferguson made several major signings, including Steve Bruce, Viv Anderson, Brian McClair and Jim Leighton. The new players made a great contribution to a Manchester United team who finished in second place, nine points behind Liverpool. However,Liverpool's points lead had been in double digits for most of the season and while Manchester United had lost only five league games all season, they drew 12 games and there was clearly still some way to go before Manchester United could be a match for their north western rivals.

Danny Welbeck Manchester United Football Club and England International

Danny Welbeck  an English footballer who plays for the greatest team ever Manchester United and the England national squad. He is a centre forward who can also play on the wing.

Danny made his way through the youth teams at Manchester United before making his senior debut in 2008 and scoring in the process. He has since gone on to win the 2008–09 Football League Cup and the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup before being sent on loan to Preston North End and more recently Sunderland.

He made his senior England debut in March 2011 in a 1–1 friendly draw against Ghana, the nationality of both of his parents. He scored his first senior international goal on 2 June 2012, scoring the only goal in a 1–0 friendly victory over Belgium.

Born in Longsight, Manchester, England, to Ghanaian parents, Welbeck was first spotted by Manchester United at only six years old. At eight years old, he impressed with local side Fletcher Moss, and was finally picked up by the Manchester United youth academy. He joined Manchester United during the 2005–06 season, making his debut for the club's Under-18 side on 8 April 2006 in a league match against Sunderland. He then came on as a substitute in the next game, before being named as an unused substitute in the team's last two games of the season. The following season, he made a further 28 appearances for the Under-18s, scoring nine goals, including eight appearances and one goal in the FA Youth Cup, in which he helped the team to reach the final, despite being two years younger than some of the other players. He was not handicapped despite suffering from Osgood–Schlatter disease, and was making rapid progress, despite his pneumonia.

Danny Welbeck signed his first trainee contract in July 2007, and started the 2007–08 season in the Under-18 side, but was quickly promoted to the Reserve team, making a number of substitute appearances. Then, in January 2008, he was called up to the first-team for the trip to Saudi Arabia to play Al-Hilal in Sami Al-Jaber's testimonial. Welbeck made his debut in that game on 21 January 2008, coming on as a 65th-minute substitute for Anderson. Welbeck had the chance to snatch a draw for United when he was brought down in the penalty area in the final minute, but he put the penalty kick over the bar.

Alex Ferguson revealed in January 2008 that Danny Welbeck would be considered a first-team squad member for the rest of the 2007–08 season. On 9 February 2008, Alex Ferguson revealed that Welbeck would be involved in the matchday squad for the Manchester derby the following day. He also hinted that Welbeck may be involved from the start of the game. This did not come to pass however, as he was left out of the team entirely.

Danny Welbeck made his competitive debut for the Manchester United first-team on 23 September 2008, starting up front in the team's League Cup Third Round match at home to Middlesbrough. United won the game 3–1, but Welbeck did not manage to get on the scoresheet despite going close in the third minute. He played again in the Fourth Round against Queens Park Rangers on 11 November 2008, coming on as a 72nd-minute substitute for Rodrigo Possebon. A few minutes later, he was brought down in the penalty area by Peter Ramage; Carlos Tévez converted the resulting penalty kick and United won the match 1–0. Danny Welbeck made his Premier League debut on 15 November 2008, coming on as a 63rd-minute substitute for Park Ji-Sung against Stoke City. He marked his debut with a curling 30-yard strike into the top right corner for United's fourth goal in a 5–0 win. Danny Welbeck's next senior appearance for Manchester United came in an FA Cup Third Round tie against Southampton on 4 January 2009, when he opened the scoring in a 3–0 win.
